& Policies

Read policies, understand our level system and be directed to our hair prep guide, down below.

In essence, our salon functions as a collaborative ecosystem, with both our in-house Crecer Team of stylists and our Crecer Co-op of independent beauty professionals, who operate their own businesses within our salon space.

Our independent professionals may have their own policies regarding pricing, scheduling, and service offerings.

Stylist Level System

  • The Stylist Level System at Crecer Dallas offers our clients options when it comes to booking salon services.

  • Provides a career path of growth for our team members.

  • Clients may choose the stylist that best compliments their requests and needs from skill-set, experience, to budget.

  • Levels are based on education and demand. As our stylists grow in each area, they earn the opportunity to be promoted to more advanced levels.

  • Apprentices—Our apprenticeship program is a six month program intended to plant seeds for stylists, eager to learn and grow within our company. With the guidance of higher level stylists, apprentices take on clients who are open to be models at a discounted rate. As it takes years of experience to find one’s niche, our program is intended to help guide stylists in the right direction and focus on their strong suits.

  • Level 1 Stylist— Level 1 stylists have completed our six month apprenticeship program. They are gaining and developing the skills necessary to deliver quality services in select areas of their craft, and offer a limited menu of services to our clients at Level 1 pricing. Level 1 Stylists are still accepting model services for curriculum-specific modules until the completion of their program; after which they will have fully graduated to a Level 2 Stylist.

Level 2 Stylist—Level 2 Stylists are either new to Crecer with experience, or they have joined our company early in their career and have chosen to grow their craft within our team. They are competent in foundational cutting, styling, and coloring services. Level 2 Stylists have a minimum of 2 year of experience, and are working on building their confidence as they sharpen their skills and evolve in their craft. Booking your service with a Level 2 Stylist is a great option for those who seek a more cost effective price point than booking with a Level 3 Stylist or Lead Stylist

  • Level 3 Stylist—Level 3 stylists are a seasoned version of a Level 2 Stylist. They’ve found their confidence and have elevated their skill set. They provide a good combination of achieving a client’s hair goals, along with making strong professional suggestions based on a client’s hair needs, aesthetic and facial structure.

Lead Stylist—Lead stylists are true masters of their craft. They are established, respected, and carry a reputation for excellence that has earned them this title. With years, sometimes decades of experience, advanced education and the highest demand for their services, there isn’t much a Lead Stylist hasn’t handled in his or her craft. They are leaders in the organization and experienced mentors, who pay their knowledge forward to the future generation of up and coming talent!

Our Policies

Please carefully read our policies upon booking your appointment.

  • An appointment must be requested and accepted before it is confirmed. Our stylists will review their requests to ensure they are able to optimize their daily schedule. Meaning, it is possible your appointment may be shifted (most times by 30 minutes to remove gaps, where a booking can otherwise be made). A message will be sent to you, informing you of the change. If the schedule change does not align with your schedule, please contact the salon so that we can accommodate you accordingly.

  • Our salon understands that sometimes schedules change and therefore requests at least 48-hours notice when canceling or rescheduling your appointment. No exceptions can be made. A credit card is required to hold your appointment. Appointments canceled within 48-hours are considered a “no-show” and will incur a $25.00-$100.00 cancellation fee, depending on the service booked. (Excluding color services which incur a 50% service cost fee).

  • We have a 15-minute grace period for both clients and stylists. There are many factors in which tardiness can occur. However, communication is key and we advise clients to contact the salon if they will arrive outside of that window. A stylist may refuse to perform a service and charge a no-show fee if a client’s tardiness will compromise their schedule. If a stylist falls behind, our salon will be in touch. A client can choose to cancel or reschedule without paying a cancellation fee.

  • All first time clients must book a hair consultation before a hair color service is booked by your stylist. Hair consultations are $25.00 and will go towards the non-refundable deposit of $50.00 that is required upon booking any color service. Returning clients must call the salon in order to rebook.

  • We do not issue refunds on salon services. However, should you have any questions or concerns about the service you have received in the salon, please notify the salon within two days of your service.

If you are not satisfied with the work performed, we require that you return to the salon so that your hair can be visually inspected. At that time, we will make every effort to make any adjustments to your satisfaction by rescheduling you with the stylist who performed the initial service, unless requested otherwise with a different stylist. Adjustments are made available to you at no cost.
