Nataly combined her passion for hair, plants, culture and community, into one space. Opening Crecer’s first location in the Bishop Arts District. Continuing to celebrate the rich Latin community, as 3rd generation to reside in Oak Cliff and first generation Latina, the design of Crecer was carefully curated with intention.

Having struggled with psoriasis and being a hairstylist who regularly used products on clients that contained questionable ingredients, Nataly's personal beauty regimen became all plant-based low-toxic as possible, as a means to be more mindful of the products she was using on her skin. However, she wanted to take the same conscious approach from home to behind the chair.

Our plant lady, Cynthia, is truly third-generation green thumb. When her grandmother migrated from Cuba, she kept and maintained a vast collection of houseplants.

Cynthia now lives in the back house of her grandmother's home, visiting her daily, as they share an affinity for plants.

She nurses our plant collection and creates terrariums in house, designed to elevate your space.
